| Italian Abstract: | La tesi di dottorato ricostruisce la letteratura scientifica sul parlamento italiano (studi di sociologia parlamentare e sulla produzione legislativa) e sulla teoria dei ruoli. Lo scopo della ricerca è di verificare la teoria di Strøm (1997; 2012) alla teoria dei ruoli parlamentari, ovvero di verificare se esistono uno o più ruoli strategici per conseguire una lunga carriera nell'istituzione. Nel caso dei parlamenti italiani della XVI e XVII Legislatura si produrranno delle evidenze favorevoli, evidenziando la strategicità della presenza sui media e della specializzazione. Le tecniche impiegate sono quantiative e riguardano una cluster analysis e un modello mLogit. |
| English Abstract: | This doctoral thesis reviews the scientific literature on the Italian parliament (studies of parliamentary sociology and legislative production) and role theory. The aim of the research is to verify Strøm's (1997; 2012) theory of parliamentary roles, i.e. to ascertain whether there are one or more strategic roles to achieve a long career in the institution. In the case of the Italian parliaments of the 16th and 17th Legislatures, favourable evidence will be produced, highlighting the strategic nature of media presence and specialisation. The techniques employed are quantiative and involve a cluster analysis and an mLogit model. |
